Kevin Kiermaier, winner of the 2015 Gold Glove has given the Ted Williams Museum the award to display for the 2016 season. Fans can take photos and see this prestigious award up close in it’s new display located directly inside the main entrance to the Ted Williams Museum. In his first full season in the majors, Kiermaier led all major league players with 42 Defensive Runs Saved, the highest mark since 2003 when baseball started tracking it. Kevin becomes just the 7th American League outfielder to win a gold glove in his first full season since the awards were first presented in 1957. Kiermaier was also presented the Platinum Glove Award given to the best defensive player amongst the gold glove winners. Bring your camera and take a picture with a great piece of baseball history!
